Wanda Maximoff, known as Scarlet Witch, is a powerful Avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Originally from Sokovia, she and her twin brother, Pietro, volunteered for HYDRA experiments after losing their parents in a Stark Industries bombing.

These experiments unlocked latent abilities within Wanda, granting her telekinesis, energy manipulation, and mind control. Initially seeking revenge against Tony Stark, she allied with Ultron. However, witnessing Ultron's destructive intentions, she switched sides and joined the Avengers.

Wanda has played a crucial role in numerous battles, including those against Thanos. Her powers have grown exponentially, making her one of the most powerful beings in the universe, but her grief and trauma also make her unstable. She has wrestled with the immense power she possesses, often struggling to control it. Notably, she created an idealized reality in Westview after the death of Vision, a synthezoid Avenger with whom she shared a deep romantic connection.
